Non-Operative Joint Treatments

Cutting-edge therapies to relieve pain and restore function — often without the need for surgery.

Not every joint problem needs surgery. We start with an accurate diagnosis and, when appropriate, build a conservative plan that combines modern therapies with targeted rehabilitation to get you back to your activities.

What it includes

  • Image-guided (ultrasound) injections
  • Biologic therapies such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP)
  • Physical therapy and rehabilitation coordination
  • Bracing and activity modification
  • Pain management and progress follow-up

Who it’s for

Ideal if you have mild to moderate pain or injuries, early arthritis, tendinitis, or want to exhaust conservative options before considering surgery.

Not sure which treatment you need? We’ll evaluate you and walk you through your options.

Joint Preservation Surgery

Advanced minimally invasive, arthroscopic and open techniques to repair and protect your natural joint.

Joint preservation aims to repair damage and correct the underlying cause so you can keep your own joint for as long as possible. It is Dr. Lázaro’s main focus — for the hip, knee and shoulder.

What it includes

  • Hip, knee and shoulder arthroscopy
  • Labral repair (hip and shoulder)
  • Rotator cuff repair
  • Shoulder stabilization (dislocations and instability)
  • Cartilage repair and restoration
  • Ligament repair and reconstruction (such as the ACL)
  • Osteotomies to correct alignment

When advanced arthritis limits your daily life, joint replacement can relieve pain and restore mobility. We evaluate every case to recommend the right option for you.

What it includes

  • Partial and total hip replacement
  • Partial and total knee replacement
