These terms apply to the website and communication channels of Lázaro Orthopedics — Dr. Lionel E. Lázaro Collazo, with offices at Doctors' Center Clinic – Ciudadela, 1507 Ave. Ponce de León, Suite 201, San Juan, PR 00909; and Doctors' Center Hospital – Orlando Health Dorado, 900 Carr. 696, Dorado, PR 00646.
Use of this site
The content of this site is educational and is not personalized medical advice, nor does it create a physician–patient relationship. All evaluations and treatment recommendations are made in person, after reviewing your case. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.
Online appointment requests
The appointment form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Your request goes into the practice’s internal appointment system and our staff will contact you to confirm the date and time. Do not use the form for emergencies or include detailed medical history.
Text message (SMS) program
Lázaro Orthopedics — Dr. Lionel E. Lázaro Collazo sends service text messages only when you call us and we can’t take your call. The process has two steps: (1) you receive a first message that identifies the practice and asks whether you would like a link to request your appointment online; (2) only if you reply YES (SI), you receive a second message with the appointment link. We do not send promotional or marketing messages. All text messages are sent from our number (787) 305-3299.
- Consent: obtained in two steps — you start the contact by calling the practice at (939) 585-8537, and you confirm by replying YES (SI) to the first message. If you don’t reply YES, you won’t receive the link or any further messages. Consent is not a condition of receiving services from the practice.
- Frequency: up to 2 messages per call (the confirmation message and, if you reply YES, the message with the link). If you text us, we may also reply.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.
- Opt out: reply STOP to any message and you will receive no further text messages.
- Help: reply HELP, or call us at (939) 585-8537.
- Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy: messages do not include health information. Your mobile number and text messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing. See our Privacy policy.
External links
The site links to external services, such as Google Maps and WhatsApp, which are governed by their own terms and policies. WhatsApp and email are not secure channels for health information: use them only to coordinate your appointment and don’t send detailed medical information through them.
